“For many soon to be brides, the steps to planning the wedding of their dreams can be overwhelming. Truthfully, with the amount of options available to brides now, some people simply don’t know where to start. Salon Eden believes that hair and makeup can set the tone for your big day.

First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Emily Waguespack and I’ve been in the beauty industry in Baton Rouge for over 20 years! I’ve managed two locally-owned, successful salons, and have helped countless brides on their wedding journey. For the last 12 years, I have also been a bridal makeup artist, specializing in soft glam. I have seen firsthand what a well planned, well executed wedding day looks like and I’m here to share all of my tips and tricks.”

Newly Engaged?

The first step to booking your beauty services for your wedding is to reach out to our wedding coordinator either by email or through our website. From there, we will work together to figure out your personal style to match you with your perfect artist.

Our artists have over 50 years of combined experience in the bridal world. If you are looking for Hollywood glam waves, a high ponytail, or a reimagined french twist, our hair stylists can create a customized look just for you. Bridal makeup at Salon Eden can be tailored to anything from a more natural look to a full glam face.

Trial Run

The best way to feel confident about any bridal style is to book a trial run with one of our bridal specialists. Trial runs, while not mandatory, are highly encouraged. They allow you to become comfortable with your stylists and to try any hair or makeup looks before committing to them for your big day.

Pro tip: Most of our brides use their trial run hair and makeup for either their bridal shower or their bridal portraits to get the most out of their investment.

Booking Your Special Day

So, how do you book with us? Once you select a wedding date and stylist, we will start coordinating your day. The first thing to do is figure out how many artists you will need. The two main factors we look at is how many of your bridal party are getting hair and makeup services and your wedding day timeline. We have been doing wedding coordination for a long time and can help you plan a timeline that is stress free and customized to you.

We do offer in-salon services for our bridal parties, but we are still a fully operating hair salon so we can’t guarantee space for your entire bridal party to relax. We encourage you, if possible, to let us travel to you. There is a travel fee based on where you are located, but I promise you will enjoy the privacy, luxury, and freedom of us coming to you.

The last step? Once you have decided on your artist and your look, we will hold your wedding date with a deposit of half the services you have booked on your date. The final balance is due two weeks before your wedding date, but we allow you to pay anytime you would like to. Some brides find it is much less stressful to pay if off at their convenience. After that, you are all set for your big day and to say “I do” with Salon Eden!
